This screen was designed to reduce the prevalent western winds and provide a space for vegetation. The design evaluated a series of options using fluid dynamic simulations to determine the spacing and efficacy of the screen given it's placement.
The process utilized Eddy3d - https://www.eddy3d.com/ and local weather data. The screen was constructed out of pressure treated lumber and simple pine lath. It is host to a number of wonderful plants and has proven to provide relief from the strong westerly winds
